Sir John Barbirolli did great recordings of Vaughan Williams works from around the same period. Multiple reissues of these 50s-60s recordings on budget labels. CD versions are usually bargain priced used.

Listened to this yesterday. BST 2nd LP found at a thrift shop.....not only is the send away for posters cut out still there on the inner sleeve but it had the original receipt from 1969.....NEAT! The LP played fine.
