Smooth flowing water and a still portrait

I agree with Petraio on this - my first impression was that the water competes with the model.

Also in #1 - I may be the only one who isn't a fan of this pose. Her back/neck doesn't look very appealing. Not necessarily the folding of the skin in her neck, but the upper back - something seems off about it.
 
I much prefer the second picture. The first makes her look larger than she is. I think it's because of the shirt she's wearing. I dunno.

The second picture looks great, but it seems a little soft. I think you may have just missed the focus.

Yeah, it's close. I didn't have a tripod and the shutter was something like 1/8.
 
i really like the second picture. I like how you got the silky water, but wasn't crazy about the color of her shirt. To me it seemed like it blended with the background a little. Regardless it was a nice shot.
