Two steps forward, one back

Although darkroom photo enlarging isn't new for me, I haven't really done it recently, so I was giving everything a "once over" before tomorrow night. Something however was still nagging me. What I had never done was to check the squareness and parallel (my old engineer/toolmaker popping out) and sure enough, the square was far from close. There was a little bitter in that sweet eBay grab of mine. Telltale marks on the main horizontal beam showed a ding so that's where the drupe was. With a .030" shim everything squared up nicely! Fantastic.....beer me!

Some of the most fun I've had was with an enlarger, a b&w negative and some paper. Looks like you are doing color. I never had the equipment for color. Have fun
