Whooping cranes

I posted we were going but never posted any shots from the trip. Last January it was very wet and the birds were much closer than this December. I managed a few, however. @24megapixseal these are from that pasture at Goose Island/Lamar I mentioned to you.









This guy went missing a couple of days after this, December 9th.
