3 Body Problem - Netflix, based on a highly acclaimed book by a Chinese author it gives a quite refreshing view on the alien invasion theme, especially using more recently acquired science (eg Quantum theory) to explain things. Makes it quite believable.

I watched that. It was very entertaining. I love Walt Goggins in anything and Kyle MacLachlan is always interestingly weird. It’s definitely going to take a rewatch to catch all the things I missed the first time. But only if there will be a season 2.

This not-new French-Canadian hospital series is a total sleeper. Go for the sub version. Might be hard to find but totally worth looking for. Sophie Lorain is wonderful. Somehow missed it but quality French-language productions often get passed up in English Canada. Addictive. Relatable.

"Bodkin" on Netflix(up here anyway). Quirky Irish mystery. Anyone watching "Vera"? Fourteen seasons usually available on streamers running UK series. Brenda Blethyn is superb. Winner cop drama. Worth scratching around for.

Made a mistake watching the borefest 4th Matrix movie on Netflix last night. Was it better than 2 and 3....nope. Need to rewatch the first to cleanse my brain and forget that 3 more were made.
