Thanks. Their engine/transmission/covers/exhausts were jewel-like, making most H-Ds look like pimped Briggs&Stratton gear. Pretty but pricey.
A friend in Montreal just got a decomposed '47 Harley FL knucklehead. Huge restoration project. Told by his partner it looks like $hit but still exudes pure bad-a$$. PIx if/when they happen.

@cgw I had several bikes in my younger days, raced motocross for awhile till the realities of adulthood brought that chapter to a close. At 60 my 2nd childhood kicked in. I was all set to buy a big cruiser, until one morning early we were toned out on a motorcycle wreck. I was first on scene, to find a man (my age), had slid about 75 yards on the asphalt. He was covered in road rash and in agony. Went home after and threw away the brochures and notes.

Grew up on a farm, with a dad that had his own plane and runway. Flying was as natural as getting in a car.
