Train Graffiti

People who watch for train graffiti are sometimes referred to as "Benchers".
I guess the tag is obvious, sitting on a bench, waiting.
I have been a serious bencher in the past.
As I would pass trains...
I would look at one side and then drive to the next town and cross the tracks and see what was on the other side.
Lots of times I was poorly prepared and I have a lot of blurry motion ones.
It really drains the dopamine when you miss a fantastic piece of artwork.
I haven't done it for a while, but I think I'll bring them altogether in one folder.
I'll post them eventually as I find them and I invite anyone to post any train graffiti you might have.
It's really like an art gallery on wheels. The ultimate Pop Up Art Museum.
Very exclusive because the audience must be at the right place at the right time.
I haven't seen a thread like this. There are street art threads of graffiti and murals.
But to me that's cheating for this context. Anybody can find stationary murals.
I'm a Bencher snob.

Ha, I totally forgot about this thread.
What I wonder about is that painting trains is illegal, right?
How do they know that they will have time to create such large, detailed works of art?
You'd need scaffolding, right?
They have to have a relationship with security, I would think.

Yes they are. But you know human nature. There's a lot of senseless tags. That is to say that I can't understand what their meaning is.
There's a lot of dark humor too.
Even the Little Shop of Horrors got a little blue with its pun.
I'm wanting to get a book on the history of it, there's a lot out there; it's just getting the right one.
Skulls are a popular subject.
