March is a long and tortuous month.

Kitty made a brief appearance. She wouldn’t stay still long enough for a good shot. She’s a little cutie, well adapted to humans, and litter trained. Not sure if she is a run-away or dumped near the school due to being pregnant.

Looks beautiful! I'm still shy about seeing 80F during March, though.

We're hitting close to 70F in a few days and that feels amazing. I will enjoy it for the 48 hours we'll see of it.

Sweet girl!!! She's going to have beautiful kittens.

She explores the house after the dogs have gone to bed. I believe that her royal highness approves of her new abode. She is definitely treating my son as one of her subjects...

Too true. Not dared to mothball snow clearing gear yet. Still, warm enough today to bbq some burgers now with a beer, Akvavit and some Cal Tjader on the Wonderboom on the deck.

This is why I love March. Just when I start getting depressed, it cheers me up with one last proper cold snap before I have to start the return trip to Hades.

Back to the "Maybe finally Spring" for us. Temps in the mid 70s this week, the redbud and Bradford Pears are blooming. Starting to see hints of green in the grass, and my nose is dripping.
