The Coffee House

I'm done with the driveway for now; I may try to get down to pavement, tomorrow. It will take some getting used to it, but I'm happy. Now it's time to have a cup of coffee.

I just made a cup of coffee myself. No sugar this time...I'm moving up in the world!

I'm tired of the snow. I have snow banks that are like 10-12 feet high.

We have some coming next Friday; 3” - 4”. I should be back up by then.

Thursday is now rain, and 1" to 2" white stuff on Saturday. We'll see.

Zoe is getting back to normal. She hung out with me this morning in the bedroom and the living room. It looks likw someone was ice fishing the pond today with a red tent or portable shelter. That's someting I want to try, in a few weeks after I have my license.

It left us about 2” and moved on. Next week close to 70. Whooo hooo.

I was bored today, sun was out and it was warmer than usually. 32f so basically summer like weather. Decided to concur my 12ft high snowbank I made with the tractor.

Milk Chocolate Rabbit

Actually, I don't like milk chocolate much. I find it too sweet, so I rarely buy these things. But I missed buying a chocolate after Valentine's day, which are usually half price, and these were available, so I bought one. It was about $5 Cdn. I've almost finished eating it. I'll probably finish eating it today. The sugar helped keep me warm.

Got the deck cleared. There were eight folks driving motobikes and ATVs around on the pond a little while ago; and the ice fisherman was back.

I built a tunnel through my snowbank.

I got the deck cleared off today. The bench, to the left, was along the pond-side. I want to put a shorter one along the side of the house, facing the pond, between the deck doors (living room & bedroom access). Something to do in spring.

Just got back from the gulf yesterday. Camera never cleared the bag. The Temperature never got above 44 high, and with the constant wind howling in off the water, the wind chill was in the " oh heck no" range. We did spend 3 days in the casino, with what we won and the all the comps it wasn't all bad.

Great deck. What a beautiful view you have of the water! This is going to be gorgeous in the warmer weather.

Thanks, Terri. That’s what we figured when we first saw it. There’s was another house we looked at that day. It was much newer, had a better garage but no water view (MLSIL’s list) but we all thought this one had more potential. There’s a small shed near the water, on the right, that I’ll use to store the kayak equipment. The big rock will stay so I’ll just decorate it. I’ll plant some ferns and maybe heather around it.
