Yeah, their brisket breakfast tacos are pretty good too. I like to gas up the car when I can, because they usually have the best prices around town, and they right along the way to my granddaughters home.

We used to hit the one off I-75 north of Atlanta when we hit the road heading north. Outside of Dalton, maybe? Couldn't miss it - the billboards gave you the countdown in miles as you approached.

We never left there without buying stuff like this and eating every last crumb.

Buc'ee's. It's a Southern thang.

This magpie season sucks.

After all these years bringing them up in my yards she go's and stuffs up the status quo/my routines by building 2 new nests up the road. Ah the 2 fledglings are hanging around the area of there nest where they hatched. Like 150 meters up the road.

Not sure if im gonna get them eating out of my hand or jumping up on me this season, I've only seen them both once each. If Mr & Mrs magpie want anymore wombaroo they need to bring these 2 by for a vist!

Ps. Gardening is all done, pruned the grape vines and the blackberry bush, the boys are sleeping under it... heaps of lady bugs on the vine too.

Happy and safe Thanksgiving, hosers.
I was able to flex my hours (two nine-hour days and starting and starting 90 minutes early) so We got on the road about 3:00. Traffic was really light once we got away from Baltimore, and rolled into Mystic CT about 10:30. We made a few rest stops and had a sit-down dinner (Waffle House).

We should be at the house about 1:00 or. 2:00, I guess.

We waved to @limr on the way up, and we’ll wave to @SquarePeg (and Princess) in a couple hours.

Well our Thanksgiving plans got derailed. We'd planned on going to son's house for Thanksgiving meal, DIL rivals DW in the kitchen. Put them together and its a real feast. Unfortunately DW woke up during the night sick, so we had to cancel. Looks like it'll be Cracker Barrel for us, plus extra sides.

Speedy recovery! CB has good food, but not the same as family. didn't cook this year, so we'll be going to my son's in-laws house, which is just down the road a bit.
