We've had more rain again in the last 24 hours. It's drizzling right now after pouring all night.

However, the temperature has really dipped - it's 64F right now! It won't last but it's kinda nice, as opposed to rain and stifling temps with humidity.

Hot, hot and hot today. We are on the schedule with 2 of the grands. The first is in the AC school. The second is a special marching band performance for family. Hopefully it won't be too hot at 7 pm.

It’s on “test” put the biggest pot on it to test overnight. If still ok in the morning , I will sand down the rough edges and give it a coat of wood stain.

Ahhh! The plumber! I think I made a career mistake... the senior plumbers make very good money. There is a lot of competition in our market, so they usually show when they say they will, otherwise they can lose the job, and then they can't jet off to Grand Cayman for holiday.

We are once again mirroring your weather. Lots of rain here the past couple of days - mostly in the form of heavy downpours followed as a storm rolls through. 70’s today. I’m waiting to see if I have Covid. Went to Portland ME for the weekend with a friend who tested positive today. Sigh. I’m negative so far but feeling a bit sketch.

It should hopefully be cooling down tomorrow. The temperature today was 81, so cooler than yesterday's temps of 90, but it was so humid and the sun was brutal. Tomorrow's supposed to be lower 70s, so here's hoping.

We survived the middle school open house. It was busy! We got our daily steps in walking around and backtracking several times. It was hot yesterday, but fortunately when we went to the HS marching band performance the temps dropped rapidly. Glad I brought a sweater for the 30 degree drop. I took a ton of photos. The band director said no posting on socials because of upcoming competition. The performance was just a sample of the show. I don't think he meant videos and not photos, but I'll sit on the photos before sending posting. I took 5 or 6 vertical photos while they were in formation at the beginning and will stitch together.
