Hmmmmm ... may I suggest that with the geo-political state in those regions you might be better off 'Downunder' ... at least it's very safe here and we speak the same language plus the GB pound = about $A1,50 -- plus -- the best time for viewing here is during the northern winter monthsI would like to photograph these one day ideally in Latin America or Europe. Can anyone suggest a place and time of year?
Thank you even if I never go there - that is fascinating. Australia is a long way from the UK which puts me off a bit.G'day Dave

Thank you - knowing when is a problemFlorida East Coast, most Carribean islands. In the Carribean you have the British Virgin Islands and Cayman Islands so no Visa or passport required for you. You just need to know when they will be nesting. I remember seeing them as a kid in Florida, and it was amazing. We are going to the Cayman Islands next week for a week.
Nesting season in the Caymans is May to November, with June to November offering the best opportunity. They also have a turtle farm where they take care of injured turtles, those boat props and sharks can mess them up pretty good. I'm hoping to catch the tail end of the season and get some photos when we visit next week. We'll see.Thank you - knowing when is a problem
