With all the tariffs hitting I've been checking prices on gear, but so far I it's been relatively quiet. The only "rumor" I've heard is that Apple might raise prices on Iphones $350-$400. Any other news out there?

My 401k is now a 201k.
I've been actively trading since the late 70's. The market goes up, the market goes down I'm in for the long term, and still here. Options and short sales have offset some of the loss, and I've managed to snag some good deals on stocks that will come back once the worm turns, so all in all I'm good.

The thing most concerning to me is inflation, seems like the more you make now, the more it takes to stay even. I'm curious how manufacturers will handle increased cost due to tariffs. I don't have an immediate need to replace any photography gear, but as often happens, anytime prices go up they seem to stay up long after the reasons for the increase are gone.

@Jeff15 this is a border line post. If it goes political the mods will lock it down or delete. Without trying to be political I was curious as to what prices increases were actually occuring, specifically in the photography world. For example, I would expect to see things like Gordox flashes (made in China) to double in price, so far it hasn't happened, nor have the cameras made throughout Asia had any price increases....yet.

Can only suggest watching company/ distributor websites for announcements which are surely coming if things go sideways. Places like Petapixel are usually quick on the draw for "breaking news."
