Hi Team,

I’ve had this aluminium box which includes a pantex telescopic lens as well as a lot of cronofilter lenses and am unable to find any information online about it so was hoping someone on here could help. I own a cannon so not much use to me so would also be nice to understand its worth, if anything.

Thanks as always

It's a 500 f/8.0 lens (NOT a telephoto), perhaps a T-mount. I'm not familiar with the brand. The case is probably worth more than the lens.

Just Google "Tamron Popular 500mm. Over to you...Go to eBay for valuation.

It's a Tamron-made lens. They once cranked out piles of lenses sold under various "brands."
Most dusty old "Spiratone" glass was made by Tamron.

NOW I can make it out! Looks fuzzy on my old laptop screen.

We used to call them Baseball Bats. Totally manual lenses. Didn't even couple the aperture to the camera. You used the C/O ring to open and close the blades. Open to focus and compose, then turn it to Close to set the aperture for exposure.

Very low-end optics.
