Most of the poetry I like tend to be short, so I'll put most of them in this topic.

I'm starting this with William Butler Yeats "When You Are Old"

"230417 After Apple-Picking-Robert Frost-VidThreeNorth"
After Apple-Picking is one of my favorite poems. When I studied it in high school, my English teacher arranged a field trip for the class to a farm with an orchard, and we spent the day picking apples. I wish I knew where the farm was, but I don't remember. I don't think it was far. This video features an apple I bought specifically for this video. It was a "Red Delicious" weighing 0.245 kg @ 5.47/kg ($1.34 Cdn). I have not been buying apples lately and I was surprised that this one was perfect in taste and texture. For quite a while now, the apples I have bought were "preserved" by nitrogen gas. Apples treated this way never ripen and stay overly crunchy. It is a horrible thing to do to perfectly good fruit. It's nice to know that at least some fruit are not treated this way. This file is 2:31 long:
