Cool, clear crisp air this evening resulting in an outstanding view of the Moon.... The crater shadows details 
And at the 8 o'clock position, the "Golden Handle"... the peaks of Montes Jura (Jura mountains) rise out of the shadows, and are illuminated over a period of just a few hours....sometimes you catch it, sometimes you don't.....it's only visible once in the lunar cycle, 10 days after the new moon....again, only for a few hours.
The Golden Handle is a popular night sky observation target!
