Hello from Plymouth, U.K. I'm not very good at photography but have a lot of fun trying. I have just got a new Nikon which seems to feel a bit lighter than my old one so I don't seem to get as much camera shake thankfully.
Here is a lizard (embarrassingly I have no idea which lizard) taken at a local wildlife centre, he is behind glass.

You say you're not very good at photography, but that's a good shot,and unlike a lot of newbies, it's perfectly jn focus,

Welcome Sharon, I am fairly new to this fantastic site as well and I live in the south west of England as well :)

Another from the UK (North East Essex), though I've been on the TPF for a while.
You claim not to be very good, but there#s no evidence of it in the shot you shared. You've coped with the intervening glass really well ( unlike many of my zoo shots)

Not much you can do about the harsh light in such situations!
