Overuse of Liquify in PS was the gateway drug for AI. Likely it will be done to death, taken to cartoonish extremes and then fade after boredom with the look sets in.
 
It’s a nice shot, but my opinion is I prefer the model to be further away from the background to get rid of that shadow. I find it distracting, but that’s just me.
I agree 100%. She might want to set-up a background light as well. Keep it low to eliminate shadows. In my old studio days our set up was : main, kicker fill, background and hair light. You can control the effect of these lights by simply moving them around, or controlling output, or placing a simple filter (like a tissue) over the light. If you have a camera that will give you a preview you can see what is good.
It's all about exposure and lighting in the studio.
Not a critique, just a suggestion. Hope it helps.
