Found another interesting fact about Bremen. The restaurant in the City Hall where we ate has a wine list that boasts more than 600 (exclusively German) wines. It is also home of the twelve oldest wines in the world, stored in their original barrels (in the 'Apostel chamber', whatever that is).

Thursday night was the big barbecue…to share another meal together, and celebrate Christiane's birthday. We were asked to bring salads etc along, and Sky chose to make his specialty of PB&J sandwiches.

…while Chris and Anne-Marie bought the fixins for us to make salads and coldcuts. (No, the picture isn't fuzzy, that's 'art')

I staked a Canadian claim on the salad. But it was eaten nonetheless

For a short while, Hertz bore an 'ear-y' resemblance to a Canadian

Lafoto's father enjoyed some tasty German wine, and the company of the foreigners who only hours earlier had been locked in a fight to the death in the canoe 'race'

This is what you get when you ask someone to show their teeth when they smile…

I can't remember if anyone already posted a pic, but this is Ole Hoop where most of us stayed during the meetup

A stray cat that came to visit us there (which makes it a travelling kitty?)

This, ladies and gentlemen, is what you get when you have an unco-operative subject who has a sixth sense about when someone is pointing a camera at him…Subject detects the raising and aiming of a photographic recording device

He seems to be ordering two of something

He then signals the runner at third to steal home

Ending with a self-satisfied smile that his work here is done

Picking up on Hertz' cues, Sky signals for me to take just 'one' picture of him, so I do

What's the usual reaction when someone places a yummy looking ice cream dessert in front of you? You tuck right in, of course!

But when the TPF crew visited an ice cream parlour…

they took pictures of the icy confections (much to the amusement of the other patrons)
