Had to relocate 4 Red Backs out from the shed a few months ago, this pretty girl had eggs so they got relocated with her.

For the most part, I go out of my way to avoid harming spiders. Black Widows and Brown Recluse are an exception, because of the danger they pose to small children, the elderly, and small animals. Fortunately, I have False Widow spiders around the house, and they hunt and eat Brown Recluse.
 
Wow! Not only a great selection of the feathered friends, but some really great shots of them also. I love the bees. I have a bottlebrush in the yard that they buzz around. Use my Olympus 12-200 for those shots or my Nikon 13-300.
 
Here is one of my Grackles who seems a little peed off for some reason. A Woodpecker on a Palm Tree and my favorites. A male Painted Bunting.

How do I start my own thread. Haven't fingered that out yet.

Navigate to the desired forum, in this case the Nature & Wildlife and select Post Thread in the upper right quadrant. Then do what you have been doing. These are nice shots!
