So i was looking at the first photo.... and thought wonder what that would loook like in B&W.... low and behold you read my mind.... Nice shots. Would love to see that castle on a foggy day.

No, there are three Norman Castles. This one is closer to Brackla and further from the sea. Ogmore Castle is right by the river which is VERY tidal. I once parked my car behind the castle, and came back to find the water half way up the car's wheels. My feet got wet, but I got the car out safe and sound! There is also a Norman castle in the Newcastle area of Bridgend...
