Calvary and Belfontaine cemeteries in St. Louis (side by side) are famous for all the famous and infamous folks laid to rest there; William Tecumseh Sherman in Calvary, William S. Burroughs in Belfontaine etc. etc.. In all my years here I never visited. Well recently my wife ran across a reddit thread about people lining up to piss on Rush Limbaugh. Bucket list I thought and decided it was time to see the place. I paid my first visit this morning. They are huge and indeed impressive. I barely got through a 1/3 of Calvary. The weather was poor for photos with mostly a white sky but I grabbed a couple snaps (2 in reply). Will certainly be going back. Fuji X-T4 w/16-55mm

It looks like an interesting place to visit. My only question is who is Rush Limbaugh and why are they pissing on him?

He was a rage baiting ultra right wing “talk” radio personality. The kind you either loved or hated enough to go piss on his grave.

Nice set, would love to visit.
