Looking for some honest criticism and opinions on the following shot I took of an obviously old and rusted boat motor.

I think the second pictures an improvement but to me the image doesn't really have a point of interest and something i get drawn to. how about trying to get some light onto it and bringing the subject out a bit more and creating more texture? just a suggestion, might be worth a try. good start though!

It's hard to look at. No point and interest, and kinda busy.

maybe another angle, or less contrast.
