A matter of taste, but that's a bit overdone, in my opinion. The ghosting at the edges of dark vs light is simply annoying. It's around the tail fin, the stabilizer, the wing, and every letter on the fuselage. There was no need to HDR this image to death...

As I said, a matter of taste, and it just doesn't fit mine.

I agree with you, it's overdone, it is the high contrast b/w preset of the camera. I use it from time to time to get some unreal pictures straight out of the camera.
