Whelp, I finally got around to processing my images from the 2024 Solar Eclipse... The part that took forever was aligning nearly 1000 frames for the time-lapse video. We drove up to Clinton, AR, for the eclipse. The weather ended up being great, which was a huge relief. I set up my absurd imaging rig and was off to the races.
The first image is of my setup (with a standard 6 year old for scale) and the second was the mascot (IYKYK). The third image is at totality with a short exposure so you can see the prominences shooting out from the Sun. The fourth image is also at totality, but with a longer exposure that shows the Sun's atmosphere. Next is a composit image of the event, and last is a link to the time-lapse of the eclipse. The video file was too large to upload. Enjoy!
