Why are photos NOT on my phone appearing on computer???

Am un-techie....but....
Downloading photos from Samsung phone to old computer.
It says 6,011 photos! NO way.
Upon seeing the 6000 photos on my computer, they are thumbnails of what looks like tv or movie that I Do NOT even recognize??!!

They are NOT NOT on my phone!
All I can say is wtf?? And I do not use that term in my language
Any insight?

Went. And found my Amazon shows I downloaded.. found 8 tv shows that I download but never watched.
It's 6000 frames of that show!?

Yes but why are they showing up when I am downloading photos off my phone. The thumbnails are Not in my camera Gallery!?

Thanks, I will get that..even tho the thumbnail are from different episodes of the Same series, they did have different extensions.
I'll get computer out...

1880000 (8).jpg. then 9 'frames/photos' layer, this
1790000 (8).jpg
Then more frames
With similar #'s
1610000 (8). Jpg

And so on..is that the extension?
Thats all I see.

The extension is .jpg. That's a regular image file.

Can you right-click on the file and view the Properties?

Sounds like you are not downloading the correct folder with your photos in it. Try using a USB cable and connect it to your computer. You can then set your computer up to view the folders on your phone. Drag and drop the folders you want to move over to your computer.

Thanks Scott. This is getting more confusing.
Yes, I hook up USB to computer everytime to download from my phone to computer. Normally it goes into PSE 11 on my old computer.

A few months ago, PSE kept telling me it encountered an error in importing.
Didn't try to figure it out....
Now 3 Months later I just decided to import photos into a photo 'category '
On my computer...
Thats when the 6000 screenshots/thumbnail appeared!!

It is NOT NOT on my phone under 'Gallery' photos that I can find! They just show up when I import photos from Camera to computer??

I have deleted them off computer but very, very strange. :[

I see properties but it just has jpeg, date.

320 x 180 is likely an embedded thumbnail.

What does that mean?
It did it to a new series I had downloaded but it also did it to 3 old shows I had downloaded months ago.
