Thanks all, I really appreciate the good wishes.

The monthly challenge really makes you think about what you're doing. To create an image of such a notion as tranquility wasn't easy. For me, this scene offered itself up as I was walking the dog and I got very lucky with the ripples: something dropped into the water just as I took the shot.

I think all the entries were good ways of approaching the subject (each a little different) and that mine was so well received is very pleasing.
