I truly wish that Kodak would bring back Plus-X and Panatomic-X bw film stocks.i first seriously learned my craft with the "3Xs"; Tri-X, Plus-X and Panatomic X.
I guess that I am giving my age away, but every Friday, after school, I would go to the drug store on main Street (long gone), and buy 3 or 4 boxes of each, the shoot on weekends, and process at school during the week. My instructor urged us to rinse film and paper far longer than recommended so that the images would last "forever" as he put it.
I am thankful that Tri-X is still around. But I really miss the other two...
