Following an most stupid accident and the consequent operation,
short hospitalisation and now convalescence at home, I can not
stand alone on my two legs — specially with one that must be up
all the time.

I know this is gonna be limited in time but that time without shoot-
ing is driving me nuts… no studio work, no on location shootings.

So, I play chess or cards with my daughter when she's home and
some guitar too but not in a confortable position. I spend time put-
ting my gear bags in order and cleaning everything (at least twice
a day! :)) feeling unsettled and useless.

My doctor paid me a visit: "Let's see… this is all spectacular, you
are healing very well and quite fast. Any pain? Do you need some
sort of medication?"

Yes, against boredom and the losing streak to my daughter.

Sorry to hear your bad luck, I am sure you will be back taking photos as soon as you can.... :onthego:

That’s really unfortunate, but the prognosis is encouraging. I hope your recovery goes quickly and we can look forward to more of your photos.

Having been through some medical recuperation myself this past week, I can sympathize with you. The whole time, all I could think of was the gazillion things I needed to be doing. Hope the recovery time is short!

Keep strong and a speedy recovery.

Heal quick!

Must be the season. I had an operation on my foot just last Friday and have spent the last 4 days bored to death with my foot up. So, I know what you are going through. I'm seeing the doc today and hoping he will clear me to drive. Then maybe I can at least drive to the wildlife refuge and hang my lens out the window. Best wishes.
