Had 21 species of avian in the yards to date and plenty of bugs too, though we need more bugs n' more birds.

Nice set! Sometimes you don't even need to leave the yard to get great shots!

Planting as many plants as possible, had 3 La Niñas in a row and a wet summer this year and lost a lot of young plants to drowning.

That's a beautiful raptor in that first one, and sort of a cannibal in the second one... 😂
Not a raptor, a cuckoo. They migrate to here from Indonesia during spring, there awake way before the kookaburras are🤪.

Fighting over the golf ball, all the birds love playing with them.

There were 4 golf balls out there but i lobbed one over the house with the 8 iron and its hidden somewhere in the front garden atm🤣.

All beautiful shots, No.1 & 2 if I had to choose.

This was the 1st feeder but the Sulfer Crested Cockys ate it😂. Had to make the pinecone swings shorter because one of the cocky's got his leg tangled in it.

They pull the pinecones up to chew on them.

Jinxed myself with that last post, dopey cocky got his leg caught up in the shortened version, now it's really short. Only 1 pull to get the pinecone now.
