All but #2 used a 21mm ext tube with the Velvet56. I actually broke out a tripod for #2( something that normally never gets used by me!).

Good lenswork. I have always enjoyed the Lensbaby ideal...i own three different models,and have used them mainly with a 2x Tokina teleconverter, but your use of the Velvet 56 with an extension tube is quite compelling.

Thank you, JC. Much appreciated! Derrel, I really like the Velvet56 in low light situations. If you try to get the dreamy, velvet effect, the highlights get blown out in well lit scenes. Today was a bit too sunny for it, but I happened to remember using the tubes in the past with the lens and liked it's pairing. Thanks!. We need to see more LB posts here!
