58 year old fresh

With respect, get a real meter that can read incident/ambient. You won't regret it.
I have two old ones, a Sekonic Leader Deluxe-2 (Model 36), and an Etalon Petite made by Chou Electronic., the latter a bit difficult to figure out thus far (came with an early 50's Kodak Pony 135, CDN$15.00 for both). I check the two manual meters with my Nikon F80's AF lenses - all give me the same aperture readings, but varying shutter speeds.
