Not sure why this is happening, but when I upload multiple photos in a sequence or series some of them get held for approval or they don't even show up in the folder. Is this process for noobs?

Yes, there's something about the multiple uploads that seems to be triggering the spam filters, so the system is holding them for individual approval. They should all be there now. Try reducing the number of images in your upload sequences and see if they go through more easily. Sorry for the inconvenience.
