These and Mourning Doves are two of the main species here in North Texas. This one was sitting on top of the feeder cooing. I need to put up a Dovecote, I think.

Yes, I love the blue.

Yes, they are. They like to sit on the chimney and coo into the pipe, and the sound comes into the family room through the fireplace. Very nice as long as it's not too early in the morning.
