Where to buy DSLR

Best Buy has low-priced d-slr bodies and body + zoom lens kits. WalMart does too. So does B&H Photo, Adorama, and a host of other places.

It deppends on which camera your looking for. Amazon is normally pretty good, but not always. Also have to watch as other companies sells through Amazon and not all are top notch retailers. Other stores like B+H and Adorama have very good pricing but not always the cheapest. The thing with B+H and Adorama is they are trustworthy, and if for some reason there is a problem. They will work with you to fix it. Best Buy for one, was very hard to work with if there was an issue (cameras or computers). The discount stores like Walmart, Target, and such can sometimes have decent prices when items are on sale. But normally I don't think they are any lower than B+H and Adorama.

One thing to avoid is the shops that advertise prices that seem like a very very good deal. In just about every case they will give you a hard sale to buy this or that with it (sometimes charging you for stuff that should come with it anyway). Then if you don't agree to buy the over priced accessories. They then tell you its out of stock (sometimes not till after they charged you for it)!

When ever I go cheap I normally just go to walmart, because if there is ever a problem with it it can be easily returned rather than having to deal with shipping. And im pretty sure electronics have a 90 day return.

Do you mean the DSLR that costs the least amount of money, or the store that does the best deals on DSLRs in general?

Used on Ebay, just watch out for people without a return policy.

Buy from a photography store. The sales people are former pros and/or present free-lancers with their own studios....at least in Canada.
