Hi All
I have got a new Nikon D5100 and when uploading the photos to my PC I just plug the USB cable between the camera and PC, turn the camera on then go to my computer and open the camera to look through the pictures. This is how I have always viewed pictures with all previous cameras, but in the Nikon D5100 manual in advices you to install the software disk with the camera and upload the pictures using the software supplied.
Is there any advantage to using the software supplied with the camera to upload the pictures or does it not realy matter. I understand that the software has editing software on it but I have photoshop elements for that.
your input will be valued.
