Wife and I are cruising through the Mediterranean in June 2026, it's crazy how far ahead you need to book.

You will LOVE it. If you can, when in Dubrovnik, try to go to visit the old city as early as possible as crowds can be huge. Do go for a walk around the city walls, don't waste your time and money with the cable car. Do visit Gino's ice cream shop, it is to die for. Have a coffee at the city cafe. Beer at Buza. Be ready to pay for toilets, unless you are a customer. They will be ripping you off everywhere. It is all well worth it. If it is very hot you can go to the aquarium to cool off. Not because you can swim with the fish but it is deep inside the city walls and it is much cooler there. You will notice two types of roofs there. Bright red and the old looking worn out and faded red. The new red roofs are, well, new. Those are the roofs of the houses that were destroyed by the Serbian artillery during the war for independence.
Take lots of photos. Share 'em with us.
Ask me anything :)

I think in Dubrovnik we are taking the tuk tuk tour up the mountain and all around the town etc should be fun. Thanks for the info!
