I can't find this model online. Went through all the Voigtlanders on Collectiblend, none of them match this one.

Is there a hidden spot on the camera with a model number or something?

Does this camera look familiar to anyone?

It looks familiar to me because there were a lot of 'folders' etc. that were similar. I don't think this early that model names were used. I don't know if there's a database (like for Leica cameras) where you could look up the numbers or not.

I felt like I should know what D.R.P. stands for but had to look it up; it's the abbreviation in German for the patent used from about 1933 to 1950/51.

Here are a couple of sites to try, or look up Stephen Gandy's Voigtlander site; he sells them and I'm not sure offhand how much historic info. he has on there.

yes, there is a hidden spot. Model names were frequently embossed in the black leatherette. With the age of you camera, this is likely to be both hard to find and hard to read. If you look on Camera-wiki, you might find a complete list of Voigtlander folders. It is just a case of looking for one with the same lens and shutter as yours and otherwise looks the same.

The focal length of the lens tells us the camera used 6x9 rollfilm (that is 120 film) so you can ignore Voigtlander's plate cameras. The lens serial number tells us that the camera was made between 1929 and 1933 and probably 1931/2.

My guess would be a Bessa.

Collectiblend is not a very useful site, I'm afraid.
