I am a new member on this photography website. I just joined it three days ago, and this is my first message.
I live in San Diego, California, and I would like to know if any one on here can recommend a photography shop here in the San Diego area. I know that there used to be a lot of shops which specialise in cameras & film around here, but they are now scarce. I am looking for a very small wind screen for the microphone on my old video camera.
Last week, I went to Guitar Centre in La Mesa, and they have a big selection of wind screens, but they are all too big, so they recommended George's Camera. Yesterday, I went to George's Camera on Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, and the same thing happened, their wind screens are also too big. I also know of is Kurt's Camera Repair, on Princess View Drive, right off of Mission Gorge Road, which I drive by frequently, but I don't know if they have what I am looking for.
I took a picture of the microphone, which I included here. It is a tiny detachable microphone; I just measured it, and it's 2.25" long.
I just want to ask the professionals on here what they think.
Thanks.
