"Lost in Her Gaze"

I've already posted this in the "pets" theme forum, but I wanted some critique on this...

I usually don't do a lot of editing on my photos, but it seemed to be effective with this one.
I'm curious to know what you all think because I'm still hesitating as to whether or not I should include it in my portfolio.

The only problem that I see is background cruder on right side with the chair and blanket, converting them to B&W helped, maybe add a little blur to them for some DOF, or clone them out if your up to it

This is a great photo without the eye effect. Great saturation, perfectly exposed. Nice composition.
