During my visit to Kansas City, I stopped by the Kansas City Zoo for a few hours. As I walked through the kangaroo exhibit, I was surprised to see a couple of kangaroos approach me. I didn't realize the area was a free roaming exhibit...and about 20 kangaroos were loose in a large area that encompassed a large meadow, woods and a pond. This offered more natural backgrounds than I ordinarily experience at zoos.
It was a great deal of fun to play with my Nikon 400 2.8 TC lens at this exhibit.
