Identify HDR photos

Hi all, could anyone tell me if there is a way to identify HDR and non HDR photos, such as something in metadata or a software that can check for you ?

As a general rule no. It's possible that some cameras that create HDR composites would place a flag in metadata, but processing software that I use that can create HDR composites doesn't place any identifier in the output file. No way to know for sure.
