Shooting up close, is easy with my Canon digital, so I thought I would try my 4x5 view Camera.
Large format is a different world, the first thing I noticed was wind or almost any kind of motion is not your friend when trying to focus on the ground glass, and DOF of a 163mm lens is very narrow.
This shot is a blue bird house at about 4 ft. This is a flower clump at about 3ft.
The white spots on the flower photo are particulate matter that settled in my old fixer solution. Yet another lesson learned about being in a hurry.
