Hello guys..
I have a manual lens Summicron R 50mm, I love this lens but I can't use it on my D90. I have a problem on focussing. I always push the shuter When focus confirm is green blink, but the result is always out of focus..
Can you help me guys?? I was change the mode to M..

Warm regard.

It can be hard to say with limited info. You may want to upload a picture as it can sometimes help identify if movement is introduced in the picture, maybe because if a slow shutter speed etc.

I'm guessing the lens you have is pretty fast (1.8?) which means you may be shooting with a very shallow depth of field. In this case slight movements can cause you to miss focus, especially the closer you are to the subject.

Hope some of this helps.

If the rangefinder dot is blinking you're close but not focused. It must be steady not blinking. If possible for you a KatzEye focusing screen will aid immensely. Click here for more information.

I wonder what lens mount the Summicron lens has on it and if an adapter is being used.

See page 60 of the D90 users manual.
Page 60 also refers you to page 55 and those situations where auto focus will not work well.

IIRC rangefinder is not available for use in manual shooting mode.
