Cheap light meter--almost waterproof

Way back in the day my first real camera was a second hand Nikon F. It survived most of the rain in the Delta area, lenses not.
Could not afford to buy a second or third light meter (mail order from NYC) so I came up with this bright idea!1 It worked!!
Usually with Tri-X once in a great while KodaColor or Ektachrome, Tri-X was pretty sturdy against the heat and humidity, the
color film died much sooner,old camera jpg

Kodak once made cute cardboard pocket exposure guides with dials. Picked a few up for fun once at a photo swap meet in Toronto.
