Hello!

I got a Canon 7. That's really beautiful... especially because of its lens, a Canon 50mm f/0.95 (!!).

Well, I have some trouble in understanding how the exposure meter works:
  • it shows two series of numbers which refer to the "suggested" lens aperture, white and yellow number series, both from 0.95 to 22: which color should I consider?
  • on the side of those numbers, there are some black "slices", of different shapes and orientations: what are them?

Thank you!!
Enrico

Dial on back has two positions ... high and low sensitivity.

Under low lighting, you set to high ... then use the orange markings.
When set to low ... use the white.

You can figure out which one to use if the indicator drops to bottom or max's out on top.

When needle is within one of the silver/black zones ... follow it across to get the aperture.

That's a hell of a setup. Please post some shots when you get a chance.

The canon 7 has always been on my short list.
