250330 JVC GZ-MS100 Camcorder

I have had the JVC GZ-MS100 for a fairly long time now -- long enough that I am not even sure when I bought it. I cannot find my documentation for this camcorder, so I searched for it online. JVC still maintains a web page. But even having found the documentation, it did not provide much. I was specifically looking for the minimum focus distance, and the document did not provide it. So I tested it as best as I could. It seems capable of focusing down to around 1" from the front of the camcorder. The lens is back a bit from the front edge of the body. So for now, I well accept that it focuses down to 1 inch. If I find out more, I might post further information later, but don't count on it. . . .
