portrait picture / studio picture

my friend was asking if i could take her picture...but theres one thing that she specifically asked for.. she asked to take out facial blemishes... so, i was thinking either using that infrared film? ... which i don't know much about.. or... making the face really really bright..

so, i was wondering what infrared film is..and..what is a good kind to get... and how do i make the shots look really bright on her face...

i also read somewhere that adding shadows to the face can make a person look more slender. and.. brushing the bangs down a bit..covers a large forehead.

any other ideas?

if anybody has a better idea... inform me on how to take a picture of somebody's face..and make it look absolutely beautiful.

take a snapshot of her in any environment and post it. seeing her face would help, otherwise you'll get suggestions to go buy a book.
