2008 Mazda 4x4 Stakebed

I mentioned in another post that until recently most pickups that arrived in Colombia were converted to stake beds. In 2008 when I bought this truck and when Mazda pickups were still assembled here Mazda wized up and offered a cab and chasis version of their 4x4 pickup. I picked mine up and drove straight to one of the many businesses in Cali that fabricated stakebeds to order. Among some other options you had a choice of getting a wood floor or a steel floor. With a wood floor objects won't slide around as much. A steel floor, my choice is better if you're going to load the truck with materials like sand and dead rock etc. It was an excellent truck and could haul a full load of dead rock up steep grades. I only sold it because I needed a four door cab with rear seat for more passengers. Sadly Mazda pickups are no longer sold here.
