I thought this one worked better in B&W because I wanted to show off the patterns in the Butterflies' wing.

wow never thought I would see a butterfly in B+W, but see what your saying about wing patterns,,

What hurts this shot is the blown highlight of the flower into the wing area, and also the lighted blurred out area of the background... they just distract to much from the subject for me,,,

I think you can see yourself how the wing stands out more in the darker areas..

but none the less, good eye for seeing patterns that work well in B+W on a colorful butterfly...
